Director of The Calling comes to Norden Farm tomorrow night!
We are delighted to announce that the director of_The Calling_, Jan Dunn, will be hosting a Question and Answer session after the 8pm screening of the film on Saturday 26 June.
Jan Dunn was born and bred in Maidenhead. Her first film,_Gypo_ won a British Independent Film Award for Best Production, and her second film,_Ruby Blue_ starred Bob Hoskins.
_The Calling_ is her third film, a comedy/drama about a young woman who gives up her privileged modern life to join a closed order of Benedictine nuns. She soon discovers that they do things a little differently - involving all sorts of un-holy behaviour.
Jan will be answering questions about the film and her career after the screening. This is a great opportunity for any local budding film makers to get advice on how to get into the industry, and to hear the success story of a former Maidenhead resident.
_The Calling_ is showing on Friday 25 June at 2.30pm and 8pm, and on Saturday 26 June at 3pm and 8pm. The question and answer session will follow the 8pm screening on Saturday 26 June.
Tickets are £7.75 (£6.50 conc) or £7 (£5.75 conc). Meal Deals are available with 8pm screenings - two courses plus tea or coffee (excluding speciality coffee & teas) for £10 (excludes film ticket).
