October Half Term at the Farm

Looking for some school holiday inspiration? Well look no further…

We kick off this fun packed week with the return of magicians Morgan and West with their brand new show Unbelievable Science! Expect explosive thrills and chemical spills on Monday 28 October at 11.30am and 2pm. Leave your lab coat at the door for this bonkers science extravaganza!

On Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 October Theatre of Widdershins bring their trademark puppetry, music, storytelling and sets in Rumpelstiltskin and The Snail of Destiny. Poor Polly Buckwheat is in a bit of a pickle! If she doesn’t turn a room full of straw into gold, the greedy king will turn a bit nasty! Should she accept the help of an eccentric dwarf who has magically appeared in her cell?

Bring the whole family and get your spook on at a Spooky Sing Along with Mairi Cowieson and Friends on Thursday 31 October at 11.30am and 2pm. Enjoy 45 minutes of music from stage to screen. Including songs from The Little Shop of Horrors and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Our 11.30am performance is relaxed – ideal for families with very young children or with children with SEND.

There’s also lots of great children’s cinema this October Half Term! Embark on an epic adventure with Playmobil: The Movie (U), a new threat emerges that puts both Bird and Pig Island in danger in The Angry Bird Movie 2, and an all new live action adventure for Dora the Explorer in Dora and The Lost City of Gold.

Arts and Crafts sessions and Storytelling will also be taking place Monday – Saturday so your little ones can get creative and make a day of their visit to the Farm.

Don’t forget to stop by our friendly Café Bar for a bite to eat, tasty snack or hot drink. Or why not stop for lunch and book a family meal deal when you book your family show or film!

We can’t wait to see you there!

PS - Teddies Music Club bring a swashbuckling adventure for young children - Pirate Pete and Princess Polly - to Norden Farm. Catch it on Saturday 26 October.
