Chagall’s Flowers
Chagall’s flowers are the ultimate symbols of love that float and fly just like his figures, and even when the flowers are anchored in a vase, a bride and groom or couple in a loving embrace are nearby. This springtime why not conjure up a romantic bouquet of your own or make your own version of one of Chagall’s works. References supplied or bring your own. Please bring your own pastels or water-based media and equipment as in the information below.
Please bring pastels or acrylic or water colour paints.
All artists water-based media (watercolour, gouache or acrylic) or pastels
Drawing board, clips or tape to attach support, paper towel, pencil, sketchbook for notes/ working out composition.
Some paper will be available from the tutor at cost.
Artists using water-based media will need a block to angle the board, water pots, palette, brushes, watercolour paper or if using acrylic, mixed media or acrylic paper, pencil.
Pastel artists will need pastels, a table easel, putty eraser, spray fixative for use outside only. Charcoal and a few pastel pencils may be useful, pastel paper.
