Led by Tango Journey
Tango is a social dance. All across the country people gather in village halls to socialise and dance to the music of 1930s/40s Buenos Aires.
The course is suitable for beginners and for those that want to refresh the fundamentals of the dance. You will learn how to dance with a partner, with the music and within a group.
You will learn a little about the history and culture of tango and you will be given music and film clips to enjoy at home. Above all you will have fun!

From the deepest roots of flamenco, this theatrically spun dance show is born.
Shaped by the luminosity of the alegrías, the depth of the taranto, the rhythms of the tangos and bulerías and the jondura of the soleá and the farruca.
Strength and elegance work in harmony with the tradition of flamenco culture... Where the flight of hands, sensuality, and taconeo induce passion.
Rebeca Ortega has danced at Carmen Amaya Flamenco Cultural Academy, the world renowned Centro de Arte Flamenco y Danza Española Amor de Dios in Madrid and at the Andalousian Centre of Dance.
Her dance comprises a vast repertoire including dance instruments: bata de cola, mantón, bastón, fan and castagnets, and personal fusion skills with circus and theatre.
Rebeca has performed under the direction of the internationally celebrated flamenco dancer and choreographer La Tati with flamenco company Teatro Flamenco La Tati.
As a solo flamenco dancer she has performed at the Edinburgh Festival in four productions, including a Flamenco for Kids which was voted one of the three best children's shows of the Festival.
In 2017, she stands out for the first time in Copenhagen, Denmark, at Himmelstorm Festival and VendersKulturCentret, together with Yolanda Almodóvar Quartet and in a duo with the circus artist Villads Bugge Bang, performing an original piece that plays with flamenco dance, body percussion, circus and physical theatre.
She toured the UK for the first time four years ago and returned last year with RAÍCES which she performed at Norden Farm.
