Charcoal, Ink, Resist
Led by Karen Carter.
Explore the wonderful qualities and contrasts of ink, charcoal and resists in this fun experimental workshop. Using the different media both individually and in combination with each other, work through a series of sketches incorporating mark-making, rich velvety tonal work, and a bit of splashing and spattering! Bring a big apron and an open mind! There will be demonstrations, exercises and individual help throughout the day. £3 materials fee.
Materials to be supplied by participant, plus materials cost to tutor where indicated. Suitable for all levels of experience, unless otherwise stated.
