Chill Club - Yoga for ages 12 - 16 years (online)
Each class will start with breath work, followed by simple sun salutations to warm up the whole body and begin to connect the breath to movement. Next we will try some standing poses, working on balance, strength and focus. Then some seated postures, holding the poses for a little while, working on lengthening muscles and softening into shapes.
Each session will finish with moon salutations to calm down before a beautiful guided relaxation.
The aim is for each teenager who takes the three week course to learn the sun and moon salutation sequences so that they can practice at home.
Sun salutes are warming and energising so great to do at the start of the day.
Moon salutes are grounding and calming so good to practice at the end of each day.
You will need one yoga mat and one blanket each.
Suitable for ages 12 - 16 years.

We want everyone to be safe while practising yoga at home so please ensure that all participants are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear and that you have suitable space to move in and have cleared the space of any potential hazards.
