Clare Deniz (cello) and Raymond Burley (guitar)

An opportunity to hear two much loved instruments performed together in a rare, delicate and intriguing ensemble duo.

As independent solo performers, Clare and Raymond are well established.

Clare Deniz has played in Holland at the Concertgebouw, toured Spain with a small chamber ensemble and performed in Frankfurt at the Alte Oper. She is listed in the International Who's Who of Music and is an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

In addition, Clare is known to local audiences as she held the post of cellist in residence at South Hill Park for a number of years. While there, she performed at numerous English music festivals and recitals at the venue and led workshops and masterclasses there.

Raymond Burley is one of Britain's most experienced guitarists. He has performed on radio and television and in every possible guitar combination. Raymond has toured throughout the UK and Europe, USA, South America and the Far East. He has worked with BBC Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia, English Chamber Orchestra and The Royal Philharmonic.
