Colour

This course explores how we choose and use colour and different colour combinations in our paintings. We will also look at how a handful of famous artists have investigated colour for representational and abstract works. Reference for the first session will be supplied.

Please bring your own materials as indicated below
- Preferred media (pastel, acrylic or gouache)
- Appropriate paper to your medium (pastel: tinted or white paper, acrylic or gouache: mixed media or heavy watercolour paper)
- A sketchbook
- Pencil
- Brushes and palette
- Water pots
- Drawing board and block of wood or table easel
- Clips or tape to attach paper
- Paper towel
