Drawing Animals: Sheep, Cows and Pets

We’ll look at painting animals in the landscape and for those who would like to, go on to draw an animal portrait, possibly your cat or dog or a farm animal.

Reference material will be supplied for the first session. We’ll discuss different drawing media and paper at the first session.

Please bring your own materials as indicated below
- A3 paper, cartridge or pastel paper
- Sketchbook
- Pastels
- Charcoal
- Drawing medium of your choice
- Pencils for small sketchbook drawings
- white pastel or pastel pencil if working on tinted paper
- Brushes and palette
- Water pots
- Drawing board and block of wood or table easel
- Clips or masking tape to attach paper
- Paper towel

Some cartridge and coloured papers suitable for pastel will be available from the tutor at cost.
