Felt: Needle Felted Pumpkins

In this fun full day workshop, you will create 3D pumpkins using the unique art form of needle felting. The session is a fantastic opportunity to unwind, explore, and transform a simple pile of wool into vibrant, three dimensional pumpkins.

We will start the workshop by being introduced to needle felting, it’s history and explaining the qualities of the wool. Before you get started, you will be taught how to blend colours and you will experiment with different materials.  Felting is known as 'painting with wool', so you will create some watercolour samples, mixing the hues, which will be developed into felted samples.

This creative process is both therapeutic and inspiring and it is perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike, allowing you to engage in a tactile journey that celebrates the spirit of autumn.  

Please be aware that the technique is fairly repetitive so may not be suitable for people with back or neck pain.
