Felt: Needle Felted Robin

Get into the festive spirit with this relaxing and therapeutic needle felting workshop. You'll learn how to craft a charming 2D robin and /or a delightful Christmas bauble using traditional needle felting techniques.

We will start the workshop by being introduced to needle felting, it’s history and explaining the qualities of the wool. Before you get started, you will be taught how to blend colours and you will experiment with different materials.  Felting is known as 'painting with wool', so you will create some watercolour samples, mixing the hues, which will be developed into felted samples

This workshop is perfect for beginners and or people with experience. 

Please be aware that the technique is fairly repetitive so may not be suitable for people with back or neck pain

All materials are included, including a frame so your finished piece is ready to take home and show off.
