Festive Fusing Fun
Celebrate the most magical time of year with our beloved Festive Fusing glass art class!
Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned crafter, this hands-on workshop is the perfect way to start the holiday season—with friends, laughter, and a little bit of glitter.
Gather your friends or come make new ones as you design and create stunning, fused glass decorations that make heartfelt gifts or keepsakes you’ll treasure year after year.
You’ll make three glass tree ornaments:
Christmas Tree Ornament
Begin by crafting a beautiful glass Christmas tree. Layer and decorate it with colourful glass branches, baubles, tinsel-like accents, and a sparkle of your own personal flair. Great for display or hanging on your tree!
Festive Character or Scene
Once you’ve learned the basics, choose from a range of themed designs for your next piece:
- A snowman bundled up for winter
- A robin perched among holly
- A classic nutcracker soldier
- Or go wild with Santa hats, candy canes, holiday gnomes, or even a mini gingerbread house—your creativity sets the tone!
Sparkling Icicles or Snowflakes
Wrap up your session with a shimmering icicle or a frosty snowflake—perfect for hanging in your window or gifting to someone special.
No Experience Needed: All skill levels welcome. Our friendly instructor will guide you step-by-step.
All Materials Provided: Includes glass, tools, safety gear, decorative elements, and kiln firing.
Bring a friend, partner, or come solo—this is a perfect way to start the festive season together.
After the class, your creations will be carefully fired in a kiln to fuse the glass. Your finished pieces will be ready to collect from the venue 1 week after the class—just in time to show them off or wrap them as thoughtful gifts.

There is an associated risk of working with small pieces of glass during this workshop. There will be a short safety talk at the beginning of the session and you will be given googles to wear. Hair must be tied back during the session and closed in shoes must be worn.
