Norden Farm Youth Theatre (Seniors 1)

Led by Karen Wallace-Jones and Jane Hibbs

Building on our devising skills from last term we will begin to develop our understanding of ensemble in performance. Using extracts from published texts we will use these as a starting point to create our own original Youth Theatre ensemble performance in the Spring.

Kayleigh’s Crafts (online)

Led by Kayleigh Galvin

Join Kayleigh online for monthly creative crafts!

Your ticket includes your craft pack which features everything you need to take part online! Just join Kayleigh via zoom to get creative.

Sun 31 Jan: Tie-Dye Bags The packs (and accompanying live video) will show you how to design one tote bag. Kayleigh will show you 2 different styles that you can use to design your bag. Each pack comes with x4 assorted colours so everyone will have a unique bag to them. There are worksheets for learning and fun included as well as some gloves and apron to help with the mess!

Mindful Storytelling (online)

Led by Carly Brown

A session for families with children aged 3-8 years old. Weaving in yoga based movement and the breath to bring stories to life. We will end each storytelling session with a cuddly savasana/rest so please have blankets and soft toys ready. A chance to spend some golden time together as a family.

This session will be fun for you and your little ones, please support where necessary and ensure that children are always supervised during the class.

Suitable for ages 3 - 8 years.

Magic & Storytelling with Patrick Ashe (online)

Enjoy interactive stories online via Zoom - with an added magical twist!

Alongside the stories, Patrick will show you how the magic works and teach a trick or two. But because Patrick is in the magic circle you must promise to keep the secrets!

Keep an eye out for details about each sessions stories and what you'll need for each trick!

For the trick you will need: A piece of scrap paper that you don't mind scrunching up into a ball

Big Dog, Little Dog: Parent & Child Yoga (online)

Led by Carly Brown

A class for parents/carers and their children. Connect and bond through movement and breath. Learn yoga postures, a gentle bedtime yoga sequence, meditations based on popular fairy tales and relaxation techniques. No previous yoga experience needed.

You will need one yoga mat (per pair) and one blanket each.

Suitable for ages 4 – 8 years, must be accompanied by an adult.
