Zen drawings - Christmas Card Edition (online)

Led by Amanda Schenk

Amanda Schenk is the visual artist behind Norden Farm's much-loved (and Instagrammed) glass corridor artwork in the school holidays.

Join Amanda for this Christmas inspired drawing course, aimed at helping to create a sense of calm and relaxation through drawing patterns with a Christmas theme. Suitable for all abilities, the workshops will focus on producing beautiful festive designs for cards to send to loved ones.

In each session you'll explore how to produce different types of Festive cards filled with beautiful patterned drawings - looking at several different designs each workshop.

You will need: Plain blank cards or plain paper, lead pencil, eraser, sharpener, black fine liner or a pen.

Chill Club – Yoga for 5–11 years

Led by Carly Brown

Yoga sessions designed for primary school aged children.

Explore lots of different yoga poses in a fun and gentle way. Using your imaginations, you will look at how nature and wildlife inspires many yoga poses and exercises, lion breath for courage, tree pose for strength, cat pose for flexibility for example.

We will then take a short savasana (blanket time) to classical piano music. This resting time allows all the work and play to settle into the children’s bodies and brains. Each session will finish with a poem or reading.

Suitable of ages 5 - 11 years.

You will need one yoga mat and one blanket each.

Crochet Social

Do you like to crochet? Join us for these drop in sessions - grab your hook, grab your yarn and lets get crocheting!

This is a social session where you will have opportunity to work on your own crochet projects and meet new people at the same time. Sophie will be on hand to answer your crochet questions and will also provide a couple of pattern ideas that you can try out, if you'd like to try something new.

Sunday Magic and Storytelling (online)

Led by Patrick Ashe.

Enjoy interactive stories online via Zoom - with an added magical twist!

Alongside the stories, Patrick will show you how the magic works and teach a trick or two. But because Patrick is in the magic circle you must promise to keep the secrets!
