Regular performer on the London jazz scene - working extensively both nationally and internationally including residencies at the Dorchester Hotel, London and for the Crown Plaza group in Seoul, Dubai and Oman and at venues closer to home such as the 606 Club, Jazz Café, Ronnie Scott’s and The Barbican Hall.

Julian Nicholas (saxophones)
Saxophonist, composer and educator Julian Nicholas recorded live at Ronnie Scott’s, with the return of ‘Loose Tubes’ in 2014, with ‘The Cloggz’ at the South Coast Jazz Festival in 2016, and alongside Claire Martin, live from The Barbican in 2017. He co-founded and curated with Claire Martin the much-celebrated South Coast Jazz Festival in 2015.

Dave Whitford
Hailing from Cornwall, Dave Whitford discovered a passion for music at school where he started playing the bass guitar aged 13, quickly becoming a member of the award winning Cornwall Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Dave has become one of London’s most in-demand side-men and can frequently be heard in the capital’s top venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Vortex, The 606 and The Jazz Café. He has also toured extensively nationally and internationally appearing at the Xerox Rochester international Jazz festival, Abu Dhabi Jazz festival, The Brecon Jazz festival, San Sebastian Jazz festival and Love Supreme festival.
