Larger than Life: Draw a small natural form on large paper

Using chunky drawing materials; for example charcoal, coloured charcoal, graphite or coloured graphite draw a small object on large paper.

A2 sized paper is ideal for using chunky materials.

Objects will be provided or you may bring your own. A small seed head, dried leaf, sea shell, pine cone, or mushroom would all be suitable.

Materials - please bring the following
White cartridge paper or grey toned paper, A2 would be an ideal size
Drawing board, clips or tape to hold paper
Any of the following: (a great opportunity to use chunky tinted charcoal or tinted graphite blocks) Charcoal, graphite sticks, chunky coloured graphite, chunky tinted charcoal, conte crayon in black, sepia or sanguine, white chalk if using toned or black paper
You may bring smaller sticks or pencil forms of any of the above for fine detail
Paper towel
Blending tools (stumps, torchons etc useful but not essential)

Some chunky drawing materials will be available for use at the session.

White A2 cartridge paper will be available at cost.
