Enter our art competition for the chance to win a Miki goody bag containing 4 tickets to a family show in 2018, a copy of Miki and some art goodies! Plus the winners of each age group will be invited to turn on the Christmas Lights on Saturday 25 November 2017 with Miki at the Town Hall!

Miki

Miki, Polar Bear and Penguin live in a very far away place. It’s an icy world where nothing ever grows. One midwinter eve, they make a wish and Miki embarks on a magical adventure in search of a star...

Based on the book by Stephen Mackey, Miki is an inspiring story about friendship, courage and adventure. It features amazing underwater creatures, enchanting music and extraordinary puppetry.

This hit show returns to the Courtyard Theatre stage after its debut at Norden Farm in 2011. Miki is created by Slot Machine, the company that have previously brought hit Christmas shows One Snowy Night and Kipper's Snowy Day to our stage.

The Carnival of the Animals - Lantern Making Workshops

Get ready to join the parade!

Weave and decorate willow to create lanterns inspired by the animal world.

Workshops take place throughout November and December:

Norden Farm | Sun 19 Nov, Sun 26 Nov, Sun 3 Dec | 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm

Maidenhead Town Centre | Sat 18 Nov, Sat 25 Nov, Sat 2 Dec | 10am – 4pm (drop in)

Last Chance Workshop | Maidenhead Library | Sat 9 Dec | 11am – 2pm (drop in)


Lanterns created at these family workshops will be illuminated at Norden Farm’s annual Lantern Parade on Saturday 9 December.

Suitable for all ages and all the family.

£4 per person. (Please note a space must be booked for every person attending the workshop – including supervising adults)

Youth Theatre (A)

Norden Lights led by Troublemaker Theatre Company.

Your chance to be on stage and in the spotlight!

Join the only youth drama group in Maidenhead which rehearses in a professional theatre!

Our friendly theatre company lead the sessions, where you’ll have fun and meet new friends. Each term you'll create a show and perform in our studio or on the main stage, with lighting, sound and staging from Norden Farm's technical crew.

Pick up performance skills from stage combat to acting for camera and physical theatre to accents, while working with scripts from famous playwrights or made up by you.

'I started with Troublemaker at 10yrs old, although acting wasn't for me but offered many opportunities. From that followed a scholarship to drama school and many jobs, of which Troublemaker are still always a key part of interview chat. I continue to wear their t shirts with much respect and love. Terms 10 weeks long, no auditions, suitable for all abilities and end with a sharing or a performance.
