Mile Twelve

Formed in Boston in 2014, Mile Twelve have performed extensively across the USA, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia.

In 2017, the band were awarded Momentum Award from the International Bluegrass Music Association. Their music draws on a range of diverse influences. Expect an evening of captivating songs and adventurous instrumentals.

WHY? An award-winning American band, beautifully walking the line between contemporary and traditional bluegrass and acoustic roots.

All the songs reflect the Irish spirit in its many forms - nostalgia, romance, emigration, politics, loss, humour and more. Between songs, you will also be regaled with stories from their days in Ireland.

Musical Memories

Led by Rona Topaz

A sociable choir for people living with dementia, led by a professional singer.

Even if you think you can’t sing a note, join in with popular jazz, pop and movie theme tunes from the 1940s through to 1980s. Songs covered include Fly Me To the Moon, Que Sera Sera, Edelweiss, You Are My Sunshine, King of the Road and more!

Carers don’t have to be present, so it’s a chance to have a little respite and relax in the Café Bar.
