Shakespeare hasn’t written anything new for an age, so we thought we would give him a hand…
Using his language, your audience suggestions, and our overactive imaginations, ShakeItUp create a brand-new Shakespeare play live on stage, complete with live music, songs, and plenty of laughs.
Pick your authentic Shakespearean genre: Epic History, Romantic Comedy, or Gruesome Tragedy! Pen your wittiest Shakespearean line for our brave actors to pull from their suitably Shakespearean breeches when they need a helping hand – the twist? They’ll have no idea what the line will be before they say it!
Then sit back and watch the hilarity unfold in a totally bonkers play that Willy Shakes himself would be proud of. Expect big laughs, high drama, and plenty of bard-based bedlam!
'Quick witted, inexhaustible and absolutely hysterical' ★★★★★ London Theatre Reviews
'Brilliantly bonkers…one of the best improvised shows out there' ★★★★★ West End Best Friend
'Clever, witty, and extremely funny' ★★★★★ One4Review
ShakeItUp Theatre launched The Improvised Shakespeare Show in 2018. Since then they have performed well over 100 totally improvised Shakespeare plays to audiences across the UK, from the Minack Theatre in Cornwall, to London’s The Other Palace, and to the Edinburgh Fringe; even performing internationally in Italy, Poland, and Germany.

Schubert Duo in A for violin and piano, D.574
Mozart Trio for clarinet, viola and piano in E flat, K.498 (Kegelstatt)
Schubert 4 Songs from Schwanengesang
Mozart Piano Quartet in G minor,K.478
In this delightful Viennese programme, two of Mozart’s greatest chamber works rub shoulders with Schubert’s eloquent Duo and a selection of his last songs.
Mozart is thought to have written his Kegelstatt Trio whilst playing a game of skittles, while his G minor Quartet has an altogether darker and more intense quality.

The Britpop Hour’ is a stand-up, musical and multimedia celebration of one of British music’s most iconic and enduring movements.
Marking the 30th anniversary of the genre’s pinnacle: the 1995 Blur / Oasis chart battle, as well as coinciding with the reformed Oasis’ record-busting reunion tour, the show delves into the ridiculous stories, the OTT personalities and the enduring rivalries, all while celebrating some of the best music Britain has ever produced.
Part warm, trivia-packed tribute, part send-up and part one-man rock ‘n’ roll party, The Britpop Hour is written and performed by award winning music journalist, author, comedian, musician and 90s refugee Marc Burrows (The Guardian, The Quietus, The Independent, Big Issue, New Statesman). Mad fer’it, do ya know what I mean?

Come and have a summer sing and experience for yourself how good it feels to open your mouth, smile and sing in harmony with others.
Each themed session will include a fun, inhibition eliminating warm-up and learning one song (possibly two) from the chosen genre.
Think of this as a pop-up choir session. Whether your regular choir is taking a break over the summer, or you’ve always wanted to experience singing in a group, it’s a totally inclusive singing session. There will be parts to learn but you don’t have to be able to read music, all levels of experience with singing welcome. Come with friends, or come by yourself and make new friends!
Embrace the green! Hot off the heels of the Wicked movie release, we’ll choose a song, maybe two, to learn and sing together. Whether you fancy yourself as a Glinda or Elphaba we’ll all embrace our inner show star and sprinkle some magic!
Tabitha loves to sing and is passionate about the power of singing for all. Tabitha founded and led the Tuneless Choir in Maidenhead for eight years and has delivered Summer Sings as part of the Norden Farm programme for the last three years.
A multi-instrumentalist Tabitha has been a member of local Funk and Soul band, Funkin’ Souled Out, she delivers corporate business skills workshops through the medium of singing or the ukulele and enjoys writing and arranging vocal arrangements. Her style has been described as warm and vibrant with intoxicating enthusiasm.

Align and Flow Yoga is influenced by the biomechanics and heart orientated philosophy of the Anusara Hatha style of yoga. With a specific alignment focus within the flow of postures the practice will tone and strengthen the body, improve posture and create more freedom in the body and mind resulting in a calm and relaxed state of being.
Each week there will be a different theme weaving its’ way through the session, but a typical class starts with breathing techniques to centre and ground, poses to warm up and then progresses to a fun and challenging mix of vinyasa and alignment yoga.
This class is designed to cultivate focus, stamina, strength, and flexibility. Leaving time at the end for a well-deserved relaxation.
Come prepared for an energising class that will also leave you feeling relaxed.
