New Year's Eve Hoedown at The Farm
See in 2017 and celebrate New Year's Eve in Maidenhead - heck yeah it’s a hoedown!
Join ceilidh and barn dance band Cut a Shine for foot stomping, rip-roaring, thigh-slapping traditional music and a night of all types of barn dancing. A fun, lively and thrilling way to celebrate this New Year's Eve!
Dust off your cowboy hats, gingham checks or general fancy dress for frolics on the Courtyard Theatre dance floor.
The caller will guide you through the dances, so no experience is necessary!
There will be free games in the Barn, plus acoustic music from the Squirrel Hunters and the Imaginary String Band keeps the party going between ceilidh sets. As you would expect, a fully stocked bar provides thirst quenching refreshments throughout.
So no need to head into the city, make this New Year's Eve one to remember - right here in Maidenhead!
As our Kitchen is closed on Saturday 31 December, the Cafe Bar will be serving snacks including Empanadas; Nachos with Cheese, Jalapenos and Salsa; and Mini Savoury Pastries from 8pm.

This 60 minute class feels more than a party that exercise class. It suits all levels of ability and beginners are very welcome.
Zumba is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility.
It can help make you feel happy, healthy, strong, amazing, unstoppable and confident!

Acoustic Guitar - Absolute Beginners

Always wanted to learn guitar but never got around to it? Want to trade your air guitar skills for real guitar skills? It is never too late to learn. Learn guitar right from the very beginning. This is a foundation course for those with little to no experience of playing guitar. You will learn how to hold a guitar and to make the right noises out of it. The aim of these lessons is to get you playing your first song within 4 weeks of lessons, as no-one takes up guitar to strum random chords, it’s all about the songs.
If you are returning to guitar having not played for some time and can barely remember chords this is a great way of getting back into the swing of things.
If you've never played guitar you need to book on the Absolute Beginners course!
These classes are split by skills level;
Beginners A - Recently completed the Absolute Beginners course but still some way to go. Yet to tackle bar chords and complicated rhythms.
Beginners B - Well on the way and able to do bar chords
Beginners C - Almost Intermediate but not quite yet.
