Amanda Schenk is the visual artist behind Norden Farm's much-loved (and Instagrammed) glass corridor artwork in the school holidays. Join Amanda for this new drawing course, aimed at helping to create a sense of calm and relaxation through drawing patterns.
Suitable for all abilities, the workshops will focus on building confidence in your drawing abilities - concentrating on the soothing journey of the drawing experience, rather than the finished drawing.
In each session you'll explore how to produce different types of patterns in abstract drawings - looking at different designs each week.
You will need: paper (plain, no smaller than A5), lead pencil, eraser, sharpener, black fine liner or a pen. Optional is a black marker.

The classic furry tale is brought to life with clever effects.
Would you trust a talking cat?
You never know, he might turn you from a pauper to a prince just like the hero of this story, brought to vivid life on our incredible sloping stage. Using smoke and mirrors and hidden trapdoors we’ll show you how this sure-footed feline fools both the King and the Ogre to take his master all the way to the top. With a host of puppets, a working windmill and an avalanche of fruit and nuts come and see this classic furry tail, it’s the cat’s whiskers!

Always wanted to learn guitar but never got around to it? Want to trade your air guitar skills for real guitar skills? It is never too late to learn. Learn guitar right from the very beginning. This is a foundation course for those with little to no experience of playing guitar. You will learn how to hold a guitar and to make the right noises out of it. The aim of these lessons is to get you playing your first song within 4 weeks of lessons, as no-one takes up guitar to strum random chords, it’s all about the songs.
If you are returning to guitar having not played for some time and can barely remember chords this is a great way of getting back into the swing of things.

A new production of the much-loved Royal Ballet fairytale classic.
Royal Ballet Founder Choreographer Frederick Ashton’s Cinderella celebrates its 75th anniversary this Season.
The ballet’s opening night in 1948, featuring Moira Shearer and Michael Somes in the lead roles, was received rapturously. After over a decade away from the Royal Opera House stage, Ashton’s timeless reworking of Charles Perrault’s famous rags-to-riches story returns, showcasing the choreographer’s deft musicality and the beauty of Prokofiev’s transcendent score.
A creative team steeped in the magic of theatre, film, dance and opera brings new atmosphere to Cinderella’s ethereal world of fairy godmothers and pumpkin carriages, handsome princes and finding true love.

She was beautiful... she was unsinkable... she was doomed...
The Titanic was declared the greatest ship in the world. On 15th April 1912 it slipped below the frigid waters of the Atlantic.
Yet J Bruce Ismay, managing director of the White Star Line, stepped into a lifeboat and sailed away from the stricken ship. He sailed away from his passengers, sailed away from the cries and screams and tears.
The Man Who Left The Titanic evokes that terrible voyage. It asks whether Bruce Ismay only did what any of us might have done in the same circumstances or should his actions that night consign his name to infamy? Was he a coward, or merely human?
This play has toured throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales for a number of years to enormous acclaim.
'The much respected Isosceles Company are undoubtedly multi-talented and this production must be one of their most thought-provoking. I would encourage you to get tickets' Irish News
'It is captivating, moving and totally engrossing’ Titanic Stories, Belfast
‘When the play ended the audience leaped to their feet with an unending round of applause. Outstanding, the entire audience was spellbound from beginning to end' Titanic International Society

As the weeks go on the group will each have a part with some lines to learn in a small-scale show. They will rehearse as a team and share what they have learnt during the last session, more details to follow on this after half term.
