Paint a Meadow in watercolour and/or pastel (online)
Led by Jo Hall.
Inspired by Renoir’s landscapes we'll paint a flower meadow.
You may choose to work very freely in watercolour alone. Alternatively you may like to make a watercolour underpainting before adding soft (chalk) pastel. A watercolour underpainting or coloured paper can make a great surface to develop a landscape further in pastel.
Either work from your own reference or choose to make your own version of a Renoir landscape.

How do our online classes work?
The classes will take place via a video stream on Zoom where you'll be able to use the camera and audio on your tablet, laptop or other device to see and hear the tutor and other participants.
You simply need to book on to your class or workshop of choice as normal by the cut off time. We'll then send you a booking confirmation email with a link to your session, password and a meeting ID.

Our much-loved Kite Making Workshops are back!
There are lots of ways you can get involved this year – like with our OnDemand Kite Kits.
Book your kit, collect from Norden Farm, access your OnDemand video from anywhere, get crafty, fly your kite!
Your OnDemand workshop video has been created by specialist kite makers, Community Kite Project. Your Kite Making Kit includes everything you need to make a Japanese Sode Kite - all you will need are pens to decorate your creation.
Make and decorate your kite to stand out in the sky at this year's Kite Festival.
Save the Date! The Kite Festival is back this year on Sunday 5 September. Join us at Boyn Grove Park (Punt Hill) between 12pm - 4pm for live music, food and drink, entertainment – and kite flying! Entry is free!

Purchase your craft kits, collect from the Cafe Bar, then tune into the on demand video to get creative!
Monster Slime
Create your own monster themed slime! Your kit includes everything you need to make slime including optional extras such as a paint, foam balls, glitter and googly eyes. Play with your slime on the Splat Mat and learn through play with some fun activities and worksheets. Your pack comes with a special 'Slime Scientist in Training' ID card, monster activity book, stickers, and straws to make slime 'balloons'!
Ahoy Matey
Decorate your own wooden pirate ship! Your kit includes everything you need to decorate and assemble you own pirate ship decoration. Have fun with the activity book, worksheets, stickers and your very own pirate hat!
Superheroes
Create your own superhero puppet! Your kit includes everything you need to make you very own hand puppet as well as your own glider to assemble. Dress as a hero with your very own mask, snap bracelet and superhero tattoo!
Under the Sea Slime!
Your ticket includes your craft pack which features everything you need to take part! Just use the On Demand video link to get creative at home in your own time! The packs (and accompanying On Demand video) shows you how to create a special batch of Under the Sea themed slime!
Minibeast Madness
Learn all about minibeasts with Minibeast Madness! Decorate your own sun catcher and garden stake with the paint provided. Go minibeast hunting with the mini magnifying glass and record what you find. Play the matching game and match the minibeast to their description. Have fun with your very own glow in the dark bug, caterpillar balloon and bug themed temporary tattoo!

Led by Amelia Pimlott
From jungles to underwater landscapes, deserts to the Artic, we will find inspiration for painting from some of the most extreme parts of the world in which we live and the animals that inhabit them. Using gouache paint and oil pastels, we will focus on colour and design.
Mon 16 Aug - Mon 13 Sept: Loose painting style
Led by Caroline Crawford
We look at loose painting style, with a selection of subjects starting with a fun fashion figure painting project in inks. We will cover varied subjects including the still life, landscapes and a botanical study and explore techniques including colour blending and application and mixed media.

Led by Amelia Pimlott
Using air drying clay, we will model figures, faces, animals and decorative elements inspired by Indian Sculpture both in relief and 3 dimensional form.

With a focus on texture we will explore different aspects of drawing and painting including proportion, one point perspective, watercolour and mixed media. Subjects will include animal portraits, a Robin study and a sunrise.
