Pottery: Handbuilding - Exploring Porcelain

Led by Helen D Evans

Come and explore the properties of Porcelain and it’s fine, translucent qualities.

This four week course is for people with all abilities, whether you want to come and give Pottery a try or if you have some experience of working with clay.

If you are new to clay then Helen will give you suggestions and guide you through the process.

More experienced learners may want to use the time to work on their own projects.
The intention is to spend the four weeks making and experimenting with Porcelain by trying different techniques. From using formers such as balloons and tennis balls to making flowers and giving you time to develop your own ideas.

Your work will then be bisque fired off-site, a clear glaze applied and then re-fired and ready to collect from Norden Farm.

The price includes: Clay, use of tools, application of a clear glaze and 2 x firing of your work

All work will be fired to Stoneware

Please bring with you:
