Pottery: Handbuilding - Spheres

Led by Helen D Evans

This 3 week course is for people with all abilities, whether you want to come and give Pottery a try or if you have some experience of working with clay.

If you are new to clay then Helen will give you suggestions and guide you through the process, depending on your ability you can try hand building techniques such as press moulds or coils.

You may like to have a go at incising the clay to create a luminaire, make a teapot, or make something more sculptural.

More experienced learners may want to use the time to work on their own projects.
The intention is to spend the 3 weeks making and manipulating spherical forms.
Your work will then be bisque fired off-site, a glaze applied and then re-fired and ready to collect from Norden Farm.
