Using the theme of the natural world, we will use collage and decoupage techniques for a variety of 2d and 3d projects including producing a landscape inspired by Turner and creating designs for more decorative household items.
Mon 17 Aug - 21 Sept: Natural World 2
Led by Caroline Crawford
Continuing with the theme of the Natural World we will explore a range of different painting mark making and printing techniques using a combination of paints, papers, ink and things that can found around the house.

Dance week is an energetic creative dance course over 5 days, led by Charlie Dixon a local dance teacher and choreographer.
This jam-packed week will give young people the opportunity to take part in contemporary dance technique class, choreography workshops and participate in designing and crafting a brand new dance film - Dancing from my Sofa
Dancing from My Sofa is inspired by our current situation and how we’ve all learnt to adapt over the last few months. So, come a get creative with our epic new dance on film project based around your very own sofa/settee/couch/armchair or chaise lounge!
This course is open level course for dancers with mixed abilities, and great opportunity to build on existing skills in a friendly creative atmosphere from the comfort of your own home.
Suitable for ages 8+ years.

Amanda Schenk is the visual artist behind Norden Farm's much-loved (and Instagrammed) glass corridor artwork in the school holidays. Join Amanda for this new drawing course, aimed at helping to create a sense of calm and relaxation through drawing patterns.
Suitable for all abilities, the workshops will focus on building confidence in your drawing abilities - concentrating on the soothing journey of the drawing experience, rather than the finished drawing.
In each session you'll explore how to produce different types of patterns in abstract drawings - looking at different designs each week.
You will need: paper (plain, no smaller than A5), lead pencil, eraser, sharpener, black fine liner or a pen. Optional is a black marker.

Free poetry workshops for ages 4+ years and accompanying grown ups.
Goggles! Umbrella! Hullaballoo! Out of all the words in the world what’s your favourite?
Join poet Simon Mole on a quest to find the best sounding words in existence, and possibly make up a few new ones too…
The group will play some fun games and activities to build skills and confidence on Zoom before Simon leads a step by step poetry tutorial to help you write your own work.
These summer sessions are the first of an exciting longer project - be part of the writing (and performance!) team for one of the first events to be hosted at Norden Farm in the Autumn once the venue re-opens.
Make sure you have a pen and paper at the ready.
