Teddies Music Club

We’ll get you bouncing, jumping, tickling, giggling, laughing, oh and singing! Teddies is energetic, lively and fun for grown-ups and children alike, with a singer and musician at every session.

Jive Cats: 1950s-style Dance
Led by John and Debra Scanlon (of RockinRhythm)
Have you often wished that you could just get up a jive in a 1950s-style when you hear that classic music? Now you can! Join us for some beginner classes and you will be on the floor dancing authentic free-style jive to classic Rhythm & Blues and Rock 'n' Roll.
No previous experience needed - come ready to have bags of fun. Bring a partner or come alone - it's up to you.

You should wear comfortable clothes that leave you arms free and do not restrict movement. Layers are a good idea as you will be exercising indoors. Your shoes should be comfortable, flexible and secure. Smooth soles are highly recommended so that you can easily turn on the ball of the foot. Heavy shoes, raised soles or high heels are very much to be avoided.
