Shake It Up: The Improvised Shakespeare Show

Shakespeare hasn’t written anything new for an age, so we thought we would give him a hand…

Using his language, your audience suggestions, and our overactive imaginations, ShakeItUp create a brand-new Shakespeare play live on stage, complete with live music, songs, and plenty of laughs.

Pick your authentic Shakespearean genre: Epic History, Romantic Comedy, or Gruesome Tragedy! Pen your wittiest Shakespearean line for our brave actors to pull from their suitably Shakespearean breeches when they need a helping hand – the twist? They’ll have no idea what the line will be before they say it!

Then sit back and watch the hilarity unfold in a totally bonkers play that Willy Shakes himself would be proud of. Expect big laughs, high drama, and plenty of bard-based bedlam!

'Quick witted, inexhaustible and absolutely hysterical' ★★★★★ London Theatre Reviews

'Brilliantly bonkers…one of the best improvised shows out there' ★★★★★ West End Best Friend

'Clever, witty, and extremely funny' ★★★★★ One4Review

ShakeItUp Theatre launched The Improvised Shakespeare Show in 2018. Since then they have performed well over 100 totally improvised Shakespeare plays to audiences across the UK, from the Minack Theatre in Cornwall, to London’s The Other Palace, and to the Edinburgh Fringe; even performing internationally in Italy, Poland, and Germany.

Haven't Stopped Dancing Yet

Haven’t Stopped Dancing Yet! put on fabulous, feelgood 70s and 80s disco nights for grown-ups at venues across London and the South East - and we’re delighted to welcome them back again after a funk-tastic sell out night here in January.

HSDY nights are recommended by everyone from Time Out and The Guardian to Stylist and Radio 4 and they have been described as 'Abba collides with Saturday Night Fever in a glorious mash up'.

DJ Lady G will be on the decks playing all your favourite soul, funk and disco tunes. Dancer Lady Boo will be showing you the moves to everything from Car Wash (complete with shiny rags) and Hey Mickey, to the 1979 Gonzales hit, Haven’t Stopped Dancing Yet, after which HSDY take their name.

If you fancy dressing up (it’s not obligatory, but lots do) there are prizes for the best retro outfits, and free sweets and ice pops too.

In the words of Shalamar, it’s going to be 'a night to remember!'

10% profits from HSDY nights go to Cancer Research UK

Party the night away until 12am - with our Café Bar also open serving drinks until then!

Revenge After The Levoyah

  1. Jewish Essex. One funeral. Two twins. And a 80-year-old ex-gangster with a plan that’s absolutely meshugge.

Malcolm Spivak’s had enough. He corners twins Dan and Lauren, fresh from their grandfather's funeral, with a proposition: help him kidnap Jeremy Corbyn. Yes, really. What follows is a chaotic Jewish heist comedy that blends madcap comedy and biting political satire.

Following two sell-out runs at The Yard Theatre in 2025, and Edinburgh Fringe (Summerhall) in 2024 Nick Cassenbaum’s (Fringe First winner and Popcorn Writer's Award nominee) explosive five star show, directed by Emma Jude Harris (Stage's Fringe Five 2024), tears through antisemitism in the diaspora, the dangers of collective hysteria, and how far you can throw a jar of chraine from a moving vehicle.

Written by Nick Cassenbaum
Directed by Emma Jude Harris

'In one cathartic hour and with two pitch-perfect performances directed by Emma Jude Harris, any residual Jewish anxiety from one of the darkest periods for the community evaporates.' ★★★★★ Jewish Chronicle

'Wickedly irreverent when it needs to be and raw and deeply impactful when necessary.' ★★★★★ Theatre Weekly

'A brilliantly perceptive but brutally unforgiving show that dares to tackle pitch-black subjects with fiery humour.' ★★★★★ The Arts Desk

'Proving the four corners of the sky are the only limits for what is possible on stage.★★★★★ Plays To See

'A frenzied hilarious treat for the imagination.' ★★★★★ The Scotsman

Align and Flow Yoga

Led by Deborah Le Vene-Page

Align and Flow Yoga is influenced by the biomechanics and heart orientated philosophy of the Anusara Hatha style of yoga. With a specific alignment focus within the flow of postures the practice will tone and strengthen the body, improve posture and create more freedom in the body and mind resulting in a calm and relaxed state of being.

Each week there will be a different theme weaving its’ way through the session, but a typical class starts with breathing techniques to centre and ground, poses to warm up and then progresses to a fun and challenging mix of vinyasa and alignment yoga.

This class is designed to cultivate focus, stamina, strength, and flexibility. Leaving time at the end for a well-deserved relaxation.

Come prepared for an energising class that will also leave you feeling relaxed.
