St John’s Ensemble is delighted to resume performances at Norden Farm with a programme of much loved works by Mozart, including the effortlessly lyrical Kegelstatt Trio featuring clarinet and viola, and the dramatic and intense G minor Piano Quartet. Leading early music specialist Miriam Allan makes a welcome return to Norden Farm, (she last appeared here as Queen of the Night in Magic Flute in 2017).

The programme will be introduced from the stage by the performers.

How do our online events work?

This event will be streamed live via Norden Farm’s online events platform. You simply need to book for the event as normal by the cut off time of 5pm on the day.

A link to access the stream on your device (computer, laptop, tablet etc) can be found above, alongside a link to our guide to accessing the stream and allocating additional tickets purchased for other households. These details will also be sent to all bookers shortly after the booking cut off time, before the event begins. You will need to know the login details for your Norden Farm online account to access the streaming page.

Alex Garnett - sax (livestream)

An evening of jazz, programmed by the late Pat Kelly and honouring his legacy.

Known as ‘The Garnett’, Alex's strident, swinging tenor playing is a gem of creative musicianship. He has performed with artists including Sir John Dankworth, Van Morrison and The Rolling Stones. Supported by the UK’s top rhythm section Alex Hutton (piano), Andy Cleyndert (bass) and Clark Tracey (drums). A precious evening!

It is always a pleasure to welcome back Joanna MacGregor, a long-term supporter of Norden Farm, who was recently appointed CBE for her wide-ranging services to music. Her brilliantly devised programme takes us through a kaleidoscope of French pieces, dance music by Bach at his most radiant and a colourful array of Latin American music.

Oldilocks and the 3 Bears

The first of three shows heading to the Norden Farm stage for Christmas 2020.

Oldilocks finds a teddy bear in the park and remembers a delicious bowl of porridge she tasted years ago in the woods. Something else happened but she can’t quite remember what…

Join Oldilocks as she sets off for another adventure followed by a scruffy old pigeon. Will she find the bears' house?

A wonderfully funny and warmhearted celebration of the classic story starring a naughty old lady who looks very familiar…

Expect to be spellbound by lovingly crafted puppets, music and some steaming bowls of porridge!

The latest show from Garlick Theatre, who have perviously brought Eggs on Legs, Three Billy Goats Gruff and Three Little Pig Tails to Norden Farm.

Can YOU catch that slippery little biscuit, the Gingerbread Man? You’ll need a big bowl of porridge first to keep your energy up. Don’t worry if you haven’t had yours this morning, Granny Grinpickle’s Magic Porridge Pot has made enough for everyone!

These two tasty tales which you know so well are served with unexpected spices and quirky flavours, along with Widdershins’ trademark ingredients of puppets, pop-up sets and original music. Perfect fare for fussy foodies and discerning diners. Bon Appetit!

From Theatre of Widdershins, the company who have previously brought Rumpelstiltskin & The Snail of Destiny, Rapunzel & the Tower of Doom and The Elves & The Shoemaker to Norden Farm.

The Vinyl Frontier - Forgotten 80s (livestream)

Join host Jeff Lloyd as he and 10 virtual guests each pick a classic 'forgotten' track from the first 11 Now That's What I Call Music LPs.
