Playing a programme including two major works for wind ensemble – Mozart’s heartfelt C minor Serenade and Gounod entrancing Petite symphonie.
The programme opens with Schubert’s charming movement for string trio and ends with the brilliant Trio with which the young Beethoven announced his arrival as a published composer.
