Having started their first adventure together at Paddington Station during the pandemic, the Paddington Trio have quickly emerged as a unique and versatile ensemble.

The Paddington Trio are

Hailed for their ‘nuanced and powerful performance’ ROSL News, the trio won first prize in the 70th Royal Over-Seas League Competition for Strings & Piano Ensemble.

In April 2023, they won the prestigious Parkhouse Award held in Wigmore Hall. They are supported generously by the City Music Foundation, Kirkman Concert Society and GMZ Management.

Committed to thoughtfully curated programming, as well as passionate advocates of new classical music, the Paddington Trio was the first prize winner at the NEW FORMATS Project Prize 2022 in Graz, Austria. In 2021, they won 2nd prize and the jury prize for the Best Interpretation of an Estonian Work at the Tallinn International Piano Chamber Music Competition as well as 1st prize at the Clara Schumann International Competition.

In March 2023, the trio made their concerto debut, where they performed Beethoven's Triple Concerto under Jan Söderblom with the Jyväskylä Sinfonia. They have had the immense privilege to perform in prestigious halls and series such as Wigmore Hall, LSO St. Luke's, Oxford Coffee Concerts, St. George’s Bristol, Brighton Dome and BBC Total Immersion concert series. Upcoming concert highlights include debuts at Conway Hall, Brighton Festival, Buxton International Festival, Schiermonnikoog Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Lake District Summer Music. They have appeared on YLE Radio (Finland) and BBC Radio 3 In Tune.

Having studied individually at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, the trio is currently in the Guildhall Artist Fellowship programme. They are grateful to receive mentorship from Richard Ireland at ChamberStudio and Marc Danel at the Netherlands String Quartet Academy. They have had the privilege to work with Gary Hoffman, Levon Chilingirian, Adrian Brendel, Robert Levin, Johannes Meissl, David Dolan and members of the Takács, Endellion, Meta4 and Kamus quartets. The trio worked with Thomas Adés at the IMS Prussia Cove’s 50th anniversary masterclasses.

Having arrived in London from different countries, violinist Tuulia Hero (Finland), cellist Patrick Moriarty (Ireland) and pianist Stephanie Tang (US) seek to build engaging concert programmes curated for changing times and audiences.

A story song is added to each week to enhance their engagement and concentration skills. It's also fun for the parents/carers who attend with their little ones.

Bring Baby Choir

Singing is a great way to relieve stress and promote well-being.

Meet new people and take some time for you in this new acappella choir for mums, dads, grandparents, carers and their babies!

It is a baby friendly class, created especially so you can bring the baby you care for. Grown ups are in a semi circle (with room for your buggy next to you) and babies can sit, crawl or play on the blanket in front of you.

These uplifting classes are led by conductor/composer (and mum) Marta Radwan. There's no auditions, no singing experience is needed and you don't need to have a 'good voice' - just an openness to have a go! You'll be sure to know the songs and there will even be some which include your little one.

There's also:

Norden Farm’s Daytime Choir

Norden Farm’s Daytime Choir is a fun, friendly, non-auditioned choir for everyone. We learn by ear, so you don’t need music experience. Our music ranges from gospel, world and jazz to pop and classical - anything that sounds great and is a joy to sing. Joining us is a great way to meet people and sing your stress away.

About the tutor
Dr Marta Mathea Radwan is an award-winning vocalist, composer and musical director. Heralding from Poland and with over 30 years' experience in musical performance, Marta conducts choirs around London, including: jazz group Alle Choir London, Offbeat a cappella community choirs in Acton and Richmond, and Singing for Fun groups at Brunel University London.

Nominated as one of the BBC Music Magazine’s Rising Stars of 2024, Xiaowen Shang has recently appeared at the BBC Proms and the Wigmore Hall, and plays a sparkling piano concerto with a memorable hunting-style finale.

Rhea Jo, former principal with the National Youth Orchestra and now a student at the Royal College of Music, performs the Oboe Concerto, and flautist Julia Bentley-Dawkes opens the programme with the elegant Andante in C.
