The Albion Christmas Band

Featuring the combined talents of Simon Nicol (Fairport Convention), Kellie While (Albion Band), Simon Care (Edward II) and Blair Dunlop (Albion Band), the show takes audiences on a journey through Britain’s Christmas customs in song, music and storytelling.

They are joined on stage by Ashley Hutchings, founder of Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span, and The Albion Band, for an evening of traditional English Christmas music, carols and spoken word.

The show blends seasonal songs, humorous readings, and reflective pieces, making it a warm and entertaining way to begin the festive season. This year’s performance features a hand-picked “best of” selection drawn from 27 years of touring.

With appearances at venues including Buxton Opera House, The New Vic Stoke and The Sage Gateshead, The Albion Christmas Show has become a firm festive favourite for audiences of all ages.
