Led by Same Sky. Get ready to join the parade!


Weave and decorate willow to create lanterns inspired by the animal world.

Workshops take place throughout November and December:

Norden Farm | Sun 20 and 27 Nov, Sun 4 Dec | 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm

Maidenhead Town Centre | Sat 19 and 26 Nov, Sat 3 Dec | 10am – 3pm (drop in)

Last chance workshop | Maidenhead Library | Sat 10 Dec | 11am – 2pm (drop in)

Lanterns created at these family workshops will be illuminated at Norden Farm’s annual Lantern Parade on Saturday 10 December. Suitable for all ages and all the family.

£3 per person

Please note a space must be booked for every person attending the workshop, including supervising adults

Learn the art of character design, exploring different shapes, expressions, and accessories to make each character truly one-of-a-kind.

Sat 13 Apr | 1.30pm Optical Illusions
Led by Maria Chernyak-Belenky
Delve into the realms of light, colour, and colour filters. Using special glasses you will create drawings which change before your eyes!

Sessions are 45 minutes | Suitable for ages 4 - 11 years | All materials provided.

Please note that children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Norden Farm Youth Theatre (Junior)

Led by Emma Duncan.

In each session children take part in a series of drama games and activities that develop their confidence as well as teaching them drama skills. These include focus, communication, developing a character and voice projection.

As the weeks go on the group will each have a part with some lines to learn in a small-scale show. They will rehearse as a team and share what they have learnt during the last session, more details to follow on this after half term.

Suitable for school years 2 - 6.

Norden Farm Youth Theatre (Senior)

Led by Emma Duncan.

Each term we will be focusing on developing the participants confidence and well-being through a series of drama games and activities.

This term the Senior Youth Theatre group are focusing on developing drama skills. They’ll learn a deeper understanding of performance and managing their nerves as well as some more specialised techniques including comedy and physical theatre.

Suitable for school years 7 - 12.

Bringing Stories to Life Chill Out Space

Free Event

Relax in this interactive chill out space where stories come to life.

Created with local schools and community groups including Achieving for Children, The Autism Group, Furze Platt Junior School and Oldfield Primary School.

Our Gallery will be alive with stories this holiday in this SEND friendly exhibition. It is a magical space where characters jump from the pages of the book through animation, projection, storytelling and music.

Quest Family Fest is supported by The Louis Baylis Charitable Trust, Cyril Taylor Foundation and Spoore, Merry and Rixman Foundation.

Art Daze

Led by Lucy Carpenter.

A creative adventure over four days. Working towards a final exhibition where the artwork will come to life, Lucy and her team will be exploring the wonderful world of illustration.

Including tickets to Nick Sharratt’s Drawalong to get truly inspired!

For ages 8 - 14 years.

From Tuesday to Thursday, there will be film screenings after the course.

Circus Week

Led by And Circus.

A week of incredible circus skills and performing. Learn to walk on stilts, ride a unicycle, walk the tightrope and perform on a trapeze!

Suitable for ages 7 - 13 years.
