The Parade is a celebration of community and the arts and encourages local people to get together, creating fantastic artworks, dancing and parading their fabulous creations through Maidenhead town centre.
Norden Farm will once again team up with SameSky, an award-winning community arts charity who have been creating fantastic lanterns, costumes and community events since 1987.
Relaxed area We've teamed up with The Autism Group and Maidenhead Library to offer a quiet area for viewing the Lantern Parade. It's a space where children who will benefit from it can enjoy the Parade in a relaxed setting. To book a space in the quiet area, please email: jessica.thompson@nordenfarm.org in advance.

Darkness empowers even the faintest light.
With this show of works in oil, I would like to celebrate light; light as hope and life; the relevance of light within darkness.
Using the inspiration of 17th century artists such as Caravaggio and Rembrandt as a starting point, I will present a series of contemporary figurative paintings, each a visual ode to the manifestation of light, and beautiful mystery in what often seems a dark and desolate world.
Led by Kayleigh Robinson.

Always wanted to learn guitar but never got around to it? Want to trade your air guitar skills for real guitar skills? It is never too late to learn. Learn guitar right from the very beginning. This is a foundation course for those with little to no experience of playing guitar. You will learn how to hold a guitar and to make the right noises out of it. The aim of these lessons is to get you playing your first song within 4 weeks of lessons, as no-one takes up guitar to strum random chords, it’s all about the songs.
If you are returning to guitar having not played for some time and can barely remember chords this is a great way of getting back into the swing of things.
