In post WWII America, young Sammy Fabelman falls in love with movies and starts to make his own. When he discovers a shattering family secret, film making becomes his solace.

This deeply personal portrait of 20th century American childhood is inspired by Steven Spielberg’s own upbringing. It’s a coming-of-age story and exploration of the power of movies to help us see the truth about each other and ourselves.

Socially Distanced Screening
The screening on Sat 18 Feb 2pm is socially distanced with a reduced capacity. Face coverings are optional. Food and drink from our Cafe Bar can be taken into the theatre as normal.

Bring Baby Screening
The screening on Thur 23 Feb 2pm is exclusively for parents, carers and grown-ups with children under 2 years. Lights are kept on low level and you can move around if you need to. Tickets are £5.50 for adults (including a cup of tea/coffee); babies and infants are free of charge. Seating is unreserved and unaccompanied adults are not admitted.
