The Maidenhead Beach at Norden Farm
One of our most popular attractions is back! Free for children and families to play on in the daytime and for adults to relax on in the evening.
The train is pulling into the station at Norden-by-Sea. All aboard the Norden Express this summer at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts as a vintage inspired beach sets the scene for the timeless joy of playing on the sand at the great British seaside.
The Café Bar is open each day for drinks, lunch, dinner and snacks beachside.
Daytime activities across the holidays include family shows, Relaxed cinema screenings, summer activity camps, Kite Making and Beach Crafts sessions. View the full line up here.
There are also free activities to keep all ages entertained including our Treasure Hunt, colouring, children’s books and games. Enjoy our dressing up box and snap a selfie. Make sure to tag us @nordenfarm!
Camp Out! is a free sensory chill out space to explore in the Gallery – offering a calm environment throughout the school holidays.

Grand Opening on Thursday 23 July from 11am
We are excited to be joined by the Mayor, Councillor Sian Martin and Joshua Reynolds MP who will be officially opening The Beach at 11am on Thursday 23 July.
Rachel Redman will be performing music for toddlers and young people after the official opening – expect singing, dancing and fun!
Plus – our Under-the-Sea performer will be bringing giant bubbles to the sand in the afternoon.
Tuesdays – Thursdays from 11am | Fridays – Saturdays from 10am

Beach Rules
● No food, drink or glass on the sand
● No glass (plastic cups only) on the outside terrace area during the day
● Children must be supervised at all times
● To keep the Beach free of charge for everyone, only food and drink bought from our Café Bar can be consumed on site. Norden Farm is a charity, and this income is essential for our running costs
