These classes are intended for all ages and abilities and levels of experience, although beginners are advised to attend the later class. We will practise traditional breathing techniques (pranayamas), general yoga postures (asanas) with some relaxation.

This is a blended class, taking place both in person at Norden Farm and online.

Please bring a blanket, a yoga/pilates mat, and wear loose comfortable clothing.

Our co-working spaces are located in the Farmhouse. So that the room can be sanitised between each use, the booking cut off for a Hot Desk is 9pm the night before.

Suitable for people with some Pilates experience or those who are looking for a slightly more challenging class. Still covering alignment, breathing and centering but with more focus on strengthening and toning your body. At the end of the class we will take a few moments to relax and unwind.

Always wanted to learn guitar but never got around to it? Want to trade your air guitar skills for real guitar skills? It is never too late to learn. Learn guitar right from the very beginning. This is a foundation course for those with little to no experience of playing guitar. You will learn how to hold a guitar and to make the right noises out of it. The aim of these lessons is to get you playing your first song within 4 weeks of lessons, as no-one takes up guitar to strum random chords, it’s all about the songs.

If you are returning to guitar having not played for some time and can barely remember chords this is a great way of getting back into the swing of things.

If you've never played guitar you need to book on the Absolute Beginners course!

These classes are split by skills level;

Beginners A - Recently completed the Absolute Beginners course but still some way to go. Yet to tackle bar chords and complicated rhythms.

Beginners B - Well on the way and able to do bar chords

Beginners C - Almost Intermediate but not quite yet.

You’ll be guided through a curation of stories from across the globe, told by a unique collection of travellers, athletes, activists and creatives.

Through culturally rich, cinematically beautiful and thought provoking films we’ll ask; what is possible in a changing world, what is beautiful, what is wild and what defines adventure?

The evening will include on-screen insights from the Kendal Mountain Festival team, as well as on-screen interviews with the filmmakers themselves.

Kendal Mountain Festival is the ultimate social gathering for outdoor enthusiasts – with a world-class programme of films and talks from international adventurers taking place on the edge of the Lake District each year. The Kendal Mountain Tour brings the best of the Festival films to cinemas across the UK. Whilst the Kendal Mountain team are unable to join you live at the venue this year, they will be with you on-screen and hope to return with live appearances in 2022.
