At this workshop you will learn how to saw, solder, file, hammer, hand-stamp and finish your own sterling silver jewellery.

You will also learn how to make your own silver stacking rings with optional stone setting or spinner / fidget rings.

The cost of the silver is not included in the course fees. The approximate cost of these materials is £20 / £30 and payable to the tutor on the day (ideally in cash).

This workshop is suitable for beginners. Minimum age is 14+ years, children 16 years and under must be accompanied by a participating adult who has booked a place.

Zumba with Annet is a fun, easy to follow, dance based class. Get fit and exercise in disguise to uplifting Latin rhythms!

This 60 minute class feels more than a party that exercise class. It suits all levels of ability and beginners are very welcome.

Zumba is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility.

It can help make you feel happy, healthy, strong, amazing, unstoppable and confident!

For novice guitarists who can string chords together, strum confidently and move between chords with some ease, to take the next steps. You will learn some classic songs, interesting chords, light music theory and the 12-bar blues.

These classes are split by skills level:

Beginners A - Recently completed the Absolute Beginners course but still some way to go. Yet to tackle bar chords and complicated rhythms.

Beginners B - Well on the way and able to do bar chords.

Beginners C - Almost Intermediate but not quite yet.

Led by Tango Journey

Tango is a social dance. All across the country people gather in village halls to socialise and dance to the music of 1930s/40s Buenos Aires.

The course is suitable for beginners and for those that want to refresh the fundamentals of the dance. You will learn how to dance with a partner, with the music and within a group.

You will learn a little about the history and culture of tango and you will be given music and film clips to enjoy at home. Above all you will have fun!

The screening on Tues 10 Jan 8pm is a Talking Tables screening. These events aim to bring people together in a relaxed environment to discuss films, share ideas and most importantly - to meet new people! It is particularly aimed at people coming to Norden Farm on their own, but all are welcome. To take part, simply book in to see the screening, then join the group in the foyer before and after the film.
