Knit Mitts - Smitten Mittens

Warm hands, warm heart — and the quiet satisfaction of knowing you made them yourself. Over two sessions you will knit a pair of beautifully fitted mitts from cuff to fingertip, mastering the thumb gusset that makes all the difference between a mitten and a mitt worth wearing. It is one of those techniques that sounds tricky and then, with the right guidance, simply clicks.

Taught by a Central Saint Martins knitwear design graduate in a small, friendly group, every step is explained clearly and unhurriedly, with your pattern card to keep you knitting confidently between sessions. The Loop Kit — yarn, bamboo needles, pattern card and a handmade-with-love tag for your finished pair — is all included. A beautifully practical make, and a truly lovely handmade gift if you can bring yourself to give them away.
