The Beach: Get Involved

The Beach

The Maidenhead Beach at Norden Farm runs annually throughout the school summer holidays. Free to play on, just roll up and relax at a beachside café table while the little ones play in the sand.

No tickets required, this man made beach features 15 tonnes of sand, a mini tiki bar and shark selfie surfboard.

Bring your own buckets and spades or buy a set to keep from the Box Office or the Café Bar.

All the fun of the seaside… without the drive!

Car parking is free at Norden Farm, and the building and Beach is fully accessible for those with additional needs.

The Secret Cove Exhibition

The Secret Cove is open throughout the summer holiday, and is free to attend.

Head down to The Gallery, and expore beneath the cover of palm trees and swooping tropical birds.

Take life at a gentler pace in the Gallery’s indoor Secret Cove where you can decorate fishes of the deep and add them to the ocean walls. Get comfy and listen to the sounds of the waves and dolphin chatter while admiring the beautiful birds and tropical textiles or explore the sensory cave made specially for children with SEND.

The exhibition features work created by local primary school students as part of the Farm Out Primary Beach Craft Project, which this year, worked with over 1000 students.

The interactive exhibition offers a creative space out of the sunshine (or away from rain…!).
