Support The Parade

About the event

Norden Farm's Community Lantern Parade will once again illuminate Maidenhead's High Street on Saturday 9 December 2017.

Now entering it's 9th year, this large-scale community arts project has become a firm part of Maidenhead Town Centre’s calendar, and has grown year on year.

2016’s community Lantern Parade engaged with 2192 people across the whole project, with 1245 of those watching and taking part in the parade itself.

Figures supplied by the Town Centre Manager Steph James have shown that total footfall in Maidenhead Town Centre on Saturday 10 December 2016 was 32,647, the busiest day of that week.

During the hours of the Lantern Parade (4.30pm – 6.30pm) the High Street reached a peak of approximately 2,000 people as illustrated in the below graph. High street footfall figures from the hours the Lantern Parade took place are detailed below:

4pm: 2616 5pm: 2213 6pm: 529
