Support The Parade

About the event

Norden Farm's Community Lantern Parade returns to illuminate Maidenhead's High Street on Saturday 7 December 2019.

This large-scale community arts project has become a firm part of Maidenhead Town Centre’s calendar, and has grown year on year.

2018’s community Lantern Parade engaged with 2571 people across the whole project, with 1606 of those watching and taking part in the parade itself. Figures supplied by the Town Centre Manager Steph James have shown that total footfall in Maidenhead Town Centre on Saturday 8 December 2018 was 26,852, the busiest day of that week.

During the hours of the Lantern Parade (4.30pm – 6.30pm) the High Street reached a peak of approximately 3,000 people.
