Paint a Shed, Shack or Derelict in line and wash
Bring India ink and watercolour to draw your favourite shack or derelict or work from a supplied reference.
We’ll explore how textures can be depicted by mark making with the ink using twigs and sticks or dip pens of any kind. We’ll use colour to compliment the line work.
Please bring your own materials as indicated below:
- India ink
- dip pen (reed pen or pen with metal nib), twig, stick or wooden kebab skewer. Tutor will bring some suitable sticks and twigs.
- Watercolour paints
- Brushes
- Palette
- Watercolour paper (cold pressed or hot pressed)
- Water pots (x2)
- Drawing board and block of wood or table easel
- Masking tape to attach paper
- Paper towel
