We are delighted to announce a very special fundraising event.Musicians for Norden Farm – Beethoven Piano Extravaganza, takes place on Sunday 15 April at 7.30pm. Tickets are £25, including canapés and a welcome drink in our 18th century Long Barn.

The concert is part of our on-going fundraising campaign. All the musicians are offering their services for free and all proceeds are going towards Norden Farm.

Pianists, and previous Norden Farm performers, Eva Doroszkowska and Meng Yan Pan return. They will be joined by young local pianist Edward Reeve, who will all be performing solos on our celebrated Model D Steinway. They will be accompanied by St John’s Chamber Orchestra and Chorus, and conducted by Nigel Wilkinson. The evening will be presented by BBC Radio 3 presenter Paul Guinery.

The evening will be recreating the atmosphere of Beethoven’s concerts in Vienna, celebrating his greatest work for the piano and orchestra. The programme includes Sonata in C minor, Op. 13, and Choral Fantasia.

This promises to be a memorable evening showcasing the talent of many musicians, performing the work of one of the greatest composers of all time. Don’t miss this opportunity to see these talents come together, for the benefit of Maidenhead’s only purpose built arts facility.
