Norden Farm is a charitable trust and relies on a team of dedicated volunteers who help with the running of the building. The volunteers help in many ways – from stewarding shows to tackling weeds in the pavement cracks!

We are currently looking for volunteers in two areas – our brochure mailouts and the offices.

Brochure mailouts - Our events brochure is sent out three times a year to 11,000 people and our film brochure is sent out to 7,000 people five times a year! All the envelopes are labelled and stuffed by our excellent volunteers. About two weeks before the brochures arrive in the building, we contact our team of ‘stuffers’ and let them know when we will be labelling and stuffing envelopes. They then give any time that they can – it might be an hour or two, a morning or even a few hours every day! If you think that you might be able to spare an hour or more during our brochure stuffing then please get in touch with Catriona Boyle on 01628 682263 or catriona.boyle@nordenfarm.org. Not only is it a great way to support Norden Farm, but it is also very sociable – everyone has a chat and a cuppa (and we always make sure there is a good supply of biscuits!).

Office support - We also rely on volunteers in our offices. Our volunteers help man the telephone in the afternoon and provide admin support when needed to Education, Events or Marketing. We have an opportunity for a volunteer to help in the offices on Tuesday afternoons or (on a short term basis) Thursday afternoons. We offer our volunteers free vouchers for films and shows plus 10% off food in the cafe bar.
