Make Silver Jewellery 1

Led by Janet Richardson.

Beginners work on a series of projects introducing classic techniques in metalworking including cutting, soldering, filing, polishing and texturing. You will end the course with a set of jewellery. More experienced students are shown new techniques and guided on how to move forward with designs and projects. Suitable for all levels of experience. Materials fee to tutor for first 5 weeks £28 (approx).

Explore the pyramids and tombs of ancient Egypt focusing on the artwork, adornment and Hieroglyphics – then create a ceramic tablet with a secret message.

Design Decorate and Embellish!

Wed 25 Feb – 11 Mar

A fascinating project looking at design from various cultures. Focusing on fine details and their origins, participants create mixed media and observational artwork.

Design Planted Spring Pots!

Wed 18 Mar – 1 Apr

Design, paint and decorate one or more ceramic plant pots with designs based on spring time. Then plant them with spring plants to take home.
