A message from our Chief Executive and Artistic Director, Jane Corry.

Dearest Friends

There were times when we never thought this time would come. When Covid 19 was on track to destroy everything we held dear in the world.

But now – government restrictions have been relaxed and finally, we are on the road back to some kind of normality.

Here at the Farm, we’re ploughing our own furrow with the same intentions but with a little less speed…

We want more than ever to go back to how we were before the great pandemic hit, but like the Tortoise and the Hare, we’re taking the slow and steady route to the finish.

Therefore, from this week, over the Summer as restrictions are lifting, we will continue to ask visitors to The Farm to keep wearing face masks and to check in using the NHS App. We’re maintaining social distancing inside our theatre and keeping a 2m distance between booking parties.

You can queue for drinks or order food at the bar, in a socially distanced format, but it’s so much better (and fun) if you pre-order to reduce the traffic, so we have everything ready for you when you arrive. Once you have drinks, take them inside and enjoy with the film/ show or to a table in our beautiful barns or outside on the terrace to reduce indoor traffic.

Undeniably, we’re losing money working like this, but know you’ll understand that it’s been such a long journey to get us here, the thought of going backwards is too much to bear.

If the changes feel too much for you, from September, when we go back to full capacity, we’ll present a programme of socially distanced film screenings with face coverings, alongside our main offer.
