Create your own amazing superheroes and planet-chomping supervillains and learn loads of secret cartooning tricks and tips along the way!
This event is part of Quest Family Fest 2019. Join us to navigate your way through 2 weeks of creative adventures.

4 workshops £16
The Explore Pass offers access to 4 different workshops for £16 per person – saving £2 (Give it a Go! Festival Pass can be used by named participant only)
For your information:
- We strongly recommend you book in advance for Explore workshops as it is highly unlikely that tickets will be available on the door
- Workshops for specific age ranges are designed for the children to attend on their own.
- Family Workshops are designed for children and adults to get creative together – a ticket must be booked for every participant attending
- We expect the carpark to be busy so please allow at least 15-20 mins to park / walk to Norden Farm / pick up tickets / find your workshop
- Workshops will take place across the building - Norden Farm will be well sign posted, use posters to find out where you should be and check the location on your tickets
- We recommend dressing for mess at our workshops
- The Café Bar will be open from 9am, serving food from 9am - 3pm. Why not start the day with breakfast? Snacks and soft drinks can be bought throughout the day. Newspapers and WiFi are available to keep adults entertained!
- Our team of friendly Young Leader volunteers will be on hand to help (look out for their lanyards)
- Have fun!
- If you can no longer make your workshop, please let our Box Office team know so that the space can be freed up for another participant!

A Winter's Tail
Presented by The Last Baguette.
The snow is falling and the solstice is approaching. Ratty is getting ready. She wants everything to be really rat-tastic! But will her friends make it through the snow to the winter woodland revels?
Can you help them on their journey? There’ll be excitement, adventure, play-acting, games, music, a splattering of silliness and lots of snow!
A Winter’s Tail is a fun, relaxed play-along theatre adventure. Expect to play, move, watch and laugh.
The Last Baguette makes entertaining, accessible and eccentric work for family audiences.
Run time: 1 hour including a stay and play session
Suitable for ages 2+ years and their grown ups. Younger and older siblings welcome!

Crafternoons - Tuesdays
Led by Creative Eye
Norden Farm's Crafternoons are relaxed crafting sessions for older people.
Get crafty with a range of activities, or bring along your own projects to work on with support from tutor Kayleigh Robinson.
You can learn new skills, meet new people and try something new, a cup of tea is included with the ticket price. Come either Tuesday or Wednesday and join in that week's craft. If you are unable to attend in person you can log on from home to chat and join in the session.

Baby Signing
Led by Funky Monkeys
Have you ever wondered what your baby is thinking or feeling? Would it help if they could communicate those thoughts and feelings to you?
Sign and rhyme teaches parents / carers and their little ones, simple sign language that enables them to communicate before speech takes over. Just like waving and clapping, your baby can learn to tell you when they’re hungry, in pain or just that they’ve seen a dog! This is empowering to them and hugely rewarding for you! In most cases babies who sign learn to talk sooner than their non-signing peers.
Signs are used in class, like actions, to accompany songs and nursery rhymes and with an array of props, puppets, instruments and the use of disco lights, bubbles and parachutes to enhance the sensory experience and make learning more fun.
