Beginners work on a series of projects introducing classic techniques in metalworking including cutting, soldering, filing, polishing and texturing. You will end the course with a set of jewellery. More experienced students are shown new techniques and guided on how to move forward with designs and projects. Suitable for all levels of experience. Using the work of Monet and contemporary artist Professor Ken Howard, OBE, RA as a starting point, experiment with a variety of ways to depict light on water. Use the paint both thick and thin, plus layering and scraffito techniques to produce a series of sample pieces for future reference. Suitable for all levels of experience.
