By Sara Hurley
Sara Hurley presenting a selection of her drawings on paper and canvas. Her subject matter is visitors of galleries and museums where they form a relationship with an art work; they become the art themselves.
You are invited to a Meet the Artist event with Berkshire based artist Sara, taking place in our Gallery on Sunday 3 February between 11am -4pm.
In this exhibition, the artist presents paintings that explore choice, decision and chance as a metaphor for the process of living in a modern, complex world.
The aim is to make enigmatic, poetically powerful, contemplative objects expressing a sense of the continual struggle between necessary order and desirable anarchy.
