Grand Opening: Tuesday 25 July from 10am

Join us to celebrate the launch of the beach:

• Prizes for best Hawaiian / Elvis fancy dress
• Free 15 minute Little Wrigglers Taster Session in the café bar at 10am
• Beachside entertainment from Elvis himself
• Free tropical juice drink for children - available from the café bar between 10am - 11am (subject to availability)
• Free activity and colouring sheets

The beach will be officially opened with a Hawaiian Leis cutting ceremony (of course!) at 10.30am.

Look out for our brand new feature - a traditional Hawaiian canoe on the shore. Plus don’t forget to say hi to the friendly shark… she’s really very smiley!

The Beach runs every day from 10am - 4pm until Sunday 27 August

Relax at a beachside café table while the little ones play in the sand. With weekday Storytelling (£2 per person) and Arts and Crafts Sessions (£5 per child) it’s the perfect way to while away a summer’s day!

Take life at a gentler pace in the Gallery's Secret Cove where you can decorate fishes of the deep and add them to the ocean walls. Get comfy and listen to the sounds of the waves and dolphin chatter while admiring the beautiful birds and tropical textiles, woven by children from local primary schools, or explore the sensory cave made specially for children with SEND.
