Give it a Go! Taster Workshops

A whole day crammed full of low cost Give it a Go! Workshops. Why not try something different, from circus skills to chocolate making or choreography to magic!

Some of our activities are especially for families – we actively encourage mums, dads, guardians and extended family to take part!

Children are not supervised between activities.

All workshops £3 per person | Give it a Go pass (4 workshops) £10 per person | All workshops 1 hour

Give it a Go! Festival Pass offers access to 4 different workshops for £10 per person – saving £2 (Give it a Go! Festival Pass can be used by named participant only)

A Winter's Tail

Presented by The Last Baguette.

The snow is falling and the solstice is approaching. Ratty is getting ready. She wants everything to be really rat-tastic! But will her friends make it through the snow to the winter woodland revels?

Can you help them on their journey? There’ll be excitement, adventure, play-acting, games, music, a splattering of silliness and lots of snow!

A Winter’s Tail is a fun, relaxed play-along theatre adventure. Expect to play, move, watch and laugh.

The Last Baguette makes entertaining, accessible and eccentric work for family audiences.

Run time: 1 hour including a stay and play session

Suitable for ages 2+ years and their grown ups. Younger and older siblings welcome!

Crafternoons - Tuesdays

Led by Creative Eye

Norden Farm's Crafternoons are relaxed crafting sessions for older people.

Get crafty with a range of activities, or bring along your own projects to work on with support from tutor Kayleigh Robinson.

You can learn new skills, meet new people and try something new, a cup of tea is included with the ticket price. Come either Tuesday or Wednesday and join in that week's craft. If you are unable to attend in person you can log on from home to chat and join in the session.

The Maidenhead Beach at Norden Farm

Grand opening on Friday 25 July

One of our most popular attractions is back!

Free for children and families to play on in the daytime and for adults to relax on in the evening.

Daytime events include family films, summer arts camps, beach craft workshops and a free chill out sensory space in the Gallery. Evening events include live music, comedy gigs and arts workshops.

Saturday 26 July | 6pm - 9pm

Duo Oh La La transport you to Paris with their French repertoire spanning a century. Expect music including works from Edith Piaf, Charles Trennet, Django Reinhardt and Serge Gainsbourg.

With the dulcet tones of Parisian born Fifi La Mer (accordion, vocals) and the talents of Oliver Wilby on clarinet, sax and accordion.

Kite Making Workshops

Get involved at Kite Making Workshops this summer, then see your creation take to the sky!

The workshops are led by specialist kite makers Community Kite Project.

Make and decorate your kite to stand out in the sky at the Kite Festival which takes place in Boyn Grove Park on Sunday 31 August between 12pm - 4pm.

Workshops are suitable for all the family.

Norden Farm

Sat 26 Jul 1.30pm and 3.30pm | £6 per person

Pre booking for Kite Workshops is highly recommended. Please arrive at the start time of the session, it will take the full 90 minutes to make your kite. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult at these sessions.

Drop In Sessions
At these relaxed sessions you can make a kite in around 20 – 30 minutes with a bit of adult support! You can turn up at any time during the session. But do make sure you leave enough time to get here, get parked and get into the session to make your kite!

If you have tickets for a workshop you are guaranteed to make a kite at the session. During each session we may have a small number of tickets available on the door but to avoid disappointment please pre book.
